The
UK is made up of three countries, England, Northern Ireland,
Scotland and Wales, all of which providing a variety of
experiences from the beautiful countryside to the busy
city life.
There
are so many attractions in the UK it is impossible to
list them all. The UK has a long history - In particular,
the capital city, London has a vast array of historical
landmarks. Tower Bridge, Hampton Court Paace, The Houses
of Parliament, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Westminster
Abbey and Kensington Palace are just some of the popular
buildings displaying old English architecture. More modern
exhibits include the London Eye, Madame Tussaud's/Panetatium,
The London Dungeon and the Tate Modern, and are the most
popular attractions in Central London. London also offers
a comprehensive tube systems to travel to your chosen
destination or if you would rather, open top bus tours
are also available.
However,
London is not the only source of culture and entertainment
in the UK. The most popular include Stonehenge, Roman
Baths, Kew Royal Botanical Gardens and Warwick Castle.
For more modern attractions, you may wish to try Chessington
World of Adventures, Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, Beaulieu,
The Eden Project and Legoland.
